Private Soda Firing

Oki Doki Studio offers private soda firing workshops in addition to our annual curriculum. These workshops can accommodate between one and six participants, with approximately 14 cubic feet of kiln space available.

One of the key benefits of a private soda firing workshop is the ability to tailor the firing process to achieve your desired results. When booking a private firing, you’ll also have access to additional preparation and glaze consultation beyond the standard workshop level. If you’d like to use your own slips or glazes rather than those provided by our studio, we offer glaze mixing for an additional fee.

The total cost of a private soda firing is $2,370 (subject to change annually based on fuel cost fluctuations).

Due to our busy firing schedule, we do our best to accommodate all requests for private workshops.

We do our best to accommodate scheduling requests, though your preferred time may not always be available. However, knowing your ideal time frame helps us plan accordingly.

Private Train Kiln Firing

Would you, and up to 5 other artists, like to book a private wood firing workshop with one of our instructors? This firing allows up to 5 participants 2-2.5 cubic feet each of bisque fired work to be glazed and fired during the 4 day workshop. Booking a private train kiln workshop can take up to a year to plan it into our schedule.
